Mardly R. Perez-Smith, Minority Women Business Owner and Founder of Orange Tree Staffing. She is a UCF graduate with over twenty years of staffing, recruiting and business management experience. Her professional journey started while working at Florida Hospital in the Radiology and Human Resources Departments. There she developed a sense of commitment to patients who needed a helping hand and matched them with professionals who cared. She relocated to Philadelphia, where she continued her career growth. She thrived with an international Fortune 500 staffing company directing and managing Administrative, Financial and Accounting Services on a temporary and permanent basis. She had the opportunity to work within her passion, which is helping allied health professionals and school districts across the country. Some of the school districts Mardly has provided workforce solutions have included: Newark, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Phoenix, Nassau, Suffolk and multiple counties within the states of NY, CT and FL. Mardly relocated back to her “home” in Florida where she founded Orange Tree Staffing. She has helped transform the field of school-based related services by providing workforce solutions. Ms. Smith’s business interests are centered on activities that leverage a consultative approach to complex marketing and recruitment arenas. Communication, adapting to change, creative thinking and teamwork are the core values she keeps as her focus. She works closely with educational administrators and therapists, alike, to address a wide spectrum of clinical, educational, budgetary, and professional issues. Her entrepreneur spirit and hands on approach has assisted many therapist and school administrators reach new professional goals. Through "Connecting People," hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence, Mardly wishes to continue to “Build and Inspire Growth.”
Mardly calls Winter Park her home where she resides with her husband, 3 children, supportive family and friends. In her spare time you can find her at a baseball game, tennis practice, or enjoying the shops, restaurants and community events Florida has to offer. She is committed to many volunteer and charity activities that assist children economically, emotionally and have life-long learning results.
Cris Clark, Payroll Manager with OTS, has a passion for project management, accounting and human resources. Cris grew up in FL and studied Accounting in South FL. She has much experience within accounting departments including construction, project, hotel and insurance management. She has managed a catering company and works for the local Police Department. Cris enjoys providing work force solutions to therapists and school administrators. She brings a pro-active approach with bottom line results.
As a mom of two boys, Cris and her husband have dedicated their time supporting causes that aid children fight and find a cure for cancer. She has been involved in many charitable endeavors such as the Treasurer of the PTA for Palm Beach County Schools, The Bone Marrow Foundation, Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS), Kids Cancer Foundation, The Connor Moran Children's Cancer Foundation, LLS, Team in Training, hosting silent auctions, events, providing meals for soup kitchens and helping the Knights of Columbus.
